Elena Sukhacheva, Ph.D.

Dr. Elena Sukhacheva has more than 15 years of experience in the diagnostic industry and is director of medical and scientific affairs, with global responsibility for Beckman Coulter's research in the field of laboratory hematology. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and International Society of Laboratory Hematology (ISLH), and corporate representative at the International Committee on Standardization in Hematology (ICSH).

Dr. Sukhacheva is a graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University and holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences. She has research experience in various subjects, including Hematology, Immunochemistry, and the development of diagnostics test system for research and clinical applications.

She has vast experience the fields of laboratory flow cytometry and hematology, which has led to the publishing of more than 50 research papers and a patent involving high-sensitivity parameters for the detection of vitamin B12 or folate deficiencies and the method of use.
