Jean-Sebastien Blanchet

Jean-Sebastien Blanchet is the Director of Global Medical and Scientific Affairs at Beckman Coulter.

Jean-Sebastien holds a PhD in immunology from the University of Toulouse, France. Prior to joining Beckman Coulter, Jean-Sebastien worked in R&D as a clinical immunologist for GlaxoSmithKline in the UK.

Over the course of his 15-year career in the diagnostics industry, he has held multiple positions in market access, outcomes research, medical and scientific affairs.

Jean-Sebastien is currently a corporate representative for Beckman Coulter at the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) and is involved in several committees and working groups geared towards standardization in laboratory medicine (Thyroid, Bone markers, PCT).
