Making an Impact Together

Join us this month as our colleagues talk about one of our core values, The Best Team Wins, and two shared experiences that bond us together, Realize Your Potential and Make a Real Difference. From Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the U.S., our colleagues are finding satisfaction and happiness in working together to achieve results.

Make a Real Difference

Qi Li, Senior Quality Regulatory Affairs Manager East Asia Oceana – Singapore

I am so grateful to work in the healthcare industry where my job not only supports my family, but makes a positive impact on human lives. A moment when I realized our work really makes a difference was when our first SARS CoV-2 assay was approved in Asia. I am proud to be a part of the multi-functional team that fought hard to provide this and later products that helped fight the pandemic.

Realize Your Potential

Mavra Mann, Legal Counsel, Middle East, Africa & Turkey – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Even though I work in a male-dominated industry, as a woman in my field at Beckman Coulter, I’ve been offered countless opportunities for growth. I am so excited and grateful for the environment of opportunity at Beckman Coulter, and, though I have worked here a short time, I have been able to realize my potential. I hope that at some level I can help all of you realize your potential, too.

The Best Team Wins

Paola Navarro Gomez, Field Applications Analyst – Barcelona, Spain

In my experience, teamwork is fundamental in supporting our customers while assisting with the DxA installations in Spain. Working with associates from other departments with different skillsets has helped us reach our objectives and meet customer expectations, and it has also allowed me to grow personally and professionally. The best team wins when we work together!

The Best Team Wins

Tiffany Kobee, Field Services Supervisor – Dallas, Texas

I first realized I was experiencing our core value, The Best Team Wins, when I was the only hematology engineer in the city for the district I supported. When customer demands were high, I was amazed at the phenomenal support of my teammates and the engineers in other districts. The fact that Beckman Coulter won nine Service Track Clinical Laboratory Awards in 2020 solidifies that the best team does win.

Thank you to our colleagues for sharing their experiences this month. Read more about our core values and how they shape our company culture and unite our associates in making an impact on our world.
