Beckman Coulter Brings New Thinking to New Lab Challenges at EuroMedLab 2015

Booths #D23 and D24, Level 2, Showcase Innovative Workflow Solutions Which Move Labs Forward

NYON, Switzerland (June 15, 2015) — Beckman Coulter Diagnostics supports IFCC-EFLM EuroMedLab 2015 with a showcase of solutions to improve workflow for the diagnostics laboratory. Held from 22-24 June 2015 at the Paris Palais des Congrès France, the company demonstrates its dedication to moving the clinical diagnostic lab forward with its total laboratory solution—from automation, chemistry, immunoassay and haematology to microbiology and its new molecular diagnostics system.

The company also features its soon-to-be-released DxH 500, the latest in the range of haematology solutions which also include the DxH Workcell, DxH 800 Cellular Analysis System and DxH Slidemaker Stainer. All are underpinned by Beckman Coulter’s multidimensional, high-definition flow cytometric technology that improves the analysis of abnormal specimens. The performance benefits of the Automated Intelligent Morphology (AIM) technology is explained in greater detail at one of the six lectures being given as part of the Beckman Coulter Educational Workshop programme — ‘Improving Haematology Laboratory Workflow Through Advanced Technology and Automation.’

Consolidating chemistry and immunochemistry solutions for medium-sized labs, the AU680i’s integrated automation workcell delivers parallel processing of shared chemistry and immunoassay specimens at 200 tubes an hour, with automated decapping providing time-saving efficiency with staff safety benefits.

Other featured solutions include intelligent sample processing* for the AutoMate 2500 family which increases the capabilities of laboratory automation solutions by providing a fully-integrated, long-term archive solution for samples. With MicroScan microbiology systems now part of the Beckman Coulter portfolio, the modern microbiology laboratory has a customizable, microbiology automation solution which provides both speed and accuracy. In addition, the company’s Iris urinalysis and body fluids testing systems delivers quality, performance, functionality and reliability through the company’s proprietary technology, digital flow morphology.
