KEVIN O’REILLY
PRESIDENT, BECKMAN COULTER DIAGNOSTICSKevin O’Reilly was appointed president of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in 2023. He is driven by a passion for helping laboratories achieve excellence in their operations and empowering doctors with critical laboratory test results that change and save the lives of patients. His leadership is focused on growing the company’s business and rallying associates to win together in support of Beckman Coulter’s customers and mission to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.
Kevin brings more than 30 years of experience accelerating and delivering innovation on a global scale within the healthcare industry. Before his current position, Kevin served as president of Radiation Oncology Solutions at Varian Medical Systems, where he was responsible for more than $3 billion in revenue and 6,500 associates worldwide. Under his leadership, the company’s market share grew across all regions and achieved world-class customer satisfaction.
Kevin holds an Honors diploma from the Technical University of Ireland and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College.
KATHLEEN ORLAND
CHIEF PORTFOLIO OFFICERKathleen Orland leads our strategy and innovation pipeline for new product development in Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Urinalysis, Automation and Clinical Informatics. She sets the vision to ensure products align with customer needs and business goals by developing and launching innovative products that drive company growth.
Kathleen joined Beckman Coulter in 2005 and since then has served in a variety of product development, Danaher Business System and Global Marketing leadership roles. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President, Clinical Chemistry Immunoassay and General Manager where she developed the innovation pipeline, launched DxI 9000 and Blood Virus, and our Novel Biomarker Strategy including Neurodegenerative Disease and Host Response to Infection. Kathleen’s expertise and passion for innovation and solving customer problems drives her teams to deliver successful products throughout their lifecycle.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her Medical Technologist MT (ASCP) from NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois.
LAURENT AMIEL
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICERLaurent Amiel leads our global commercial team focusing on both developed markets and high growth markets. Laurent is passionate about improving the lives of people around the world. His leadership focuses on helping our partner customers succeed in the fast-paced, ever-evolving laboratory environment, while also developing talent that makes a meaningful impact on both customers and patients.
Laurent brings 30 years of healthcare leadership experience. Prior to joining Beckman Coulter in 2025, he served as President of Varian Medical System for Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he significantly grew the number of patient touches, market share and increased customer satisfaction. Prior to that he held a range of leadership roles at Abbott, GE Healthcare, McKinsey & Company, and Alstom T&D.
Laurent holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Arts et Métiers.

TOM NEUFELDER
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICERTom Neufelder leads Beckman Coulter’s technology vision, strategy, and plans for growth, including monitoring technology trends, identifying opportunities to drive technological advancement, and sharing best practices across business units.
Prior to joining Beckman Coulter in 2021, Tom served as Chief Technology Officer for MaxQ AI which develops artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for detection of intracranial hemorrhage. Tom has held numerous senior executive positions at various companies including Philips Healthcare and GE Healthcare. He brings more than 35 years of experience in engineering and product development to his role at Beckman Coulter.
Tom holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
ERIC KOLODZIEJ
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, QUALITY, REGULATORY AND CLINICAL AFFAIRSEric Kolodziej oversees direct and distributed quality, regulatory, and clinical affairs professionals worldwide at Beckman Coulter, ensuring our services and products meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and clinical effectiveness.
Before joining Beckman Coulter, Eric held key leadership positions at companies including Roche Diagnostics, Perrigo Company and most recently, Hologic, Inc. where he served as the Corporate Vice President, Global Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Valparaiso University, an Executive Master of Business Administration in Finance and a PhD in Analytical Medicinal Chemistry from Purdue University.

TERRY WALSH
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL OPERATIONSTerry Walsh leads our global operations team, which is focused on manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain planning, and strategic sourcing across all business units.
Terry brings more than 30 years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing leadership. Before joining Beckman Coulter in 2024, Terry led global operations at SI Group and held leadership roles at Henkel, Novartis, Merck, and Johnson & Johnson. Terry brings previous Danaher experience with ChemTreat, an operating company now part of Veralto.
Terry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from Rider University.
DR. CHRISTOPHER BIRD
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER AND VICE PRESIDENT, MEDICAL EXCELLENCE & DISEASE LEADERSHIPDr. Chris Bird oversees advancing medical excellence and delivering meaningful medical impact across key disease areas through integrated evidence generation and medical education.
Chris joined Beckman Coulter in 2025, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning diagnostics, molecular medicine, and cell therapy. His background includes serving as Chief Medical Officer at BioPorto, leading Medical & Scientific Affairs at Roche Diagnostics, North America, and co-founding and leading the cell therapy company, Chimeris.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Brigham Young University, a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of California, Los Angeles, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Immunology from the University of Oxford as an Abraham Scholar. In addition, he has graduate business degrees from London Business School and ESADE.

BROCK CHRISTANSON
VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCESBrock Christianson leads our global human resources team and drives our organizational development strategies. He is passionate about aligning and developing talent across the organization to achieve team and customer success.
Brock joined Beckman Coulter in 2026 with 25+ years of HR experience. Most recently he was Chief Human Resources Officer at Tennant Company. He also held a variety of Human Resources leadership roles driving results at five Fortune 500 companies: Medtronic, Honeywell, Emerson Electric, Ernst & Young and Thrivent. Leadership responsibilities spanned corporate, business unit, regional, HR Center of Excellence, and compensation consulting roles during his career.
Brock holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.
MARIANNE HELSTRUP
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT LEGAL & GENERAL COUNSELMarianne Helstrup oversees a global team of associates in compliance and business ethics, risk management, intellectual property and transactional legal.
Marianne joined Danaher in 2019 as General Counsel and Vice President of Legal at Radiometer. Prior to joining Danaher, Marianne held various leadership roles in the legal function at Lundbeck, a leading Danish pharmaceutical company specializing in neurologic and psychiatric diseases. Before Lundbeck, Marianne had a private practice career, primarily focusing on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation.
Marianne holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Copenhagen and is licensed to practice law in Denmark.
KETAN DESHPANDE
VICE PRESIDENT, DANAHER BUSINESS SYSTEMKetan Deshpande drives global Danaher Business System (DBS) capability and continuous improvement across Beckman Coulter to build our competitive advantage.
Ketan joined Danaher in April 2023 through the Operations and Supply Chain Leadership Program. Before joining Danaher, Ketan held key leadership positions at Integer Holdings Corporation, Trelleborg (Quadion LLC), Ambit Inc., Watson and Marlow and multiple private equity companies.
Ketan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, Pune, India.

JOSEPH GOTTFRIED, M.D., J.D.
VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGYJoseph Gottfried leads Beckman Coulter’s global strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Joseph has two decades of experience transforming operations and organizations in the healthcare space. He has held key leadership positions in healthcare and consulting companies, including MEDIAN, Cornerstone Healthcare Group, and McKinsey & Company.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in History & Literature from Harvard College, a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is a board-certified internist and practicing physician who trained at Duke University.
JASMINA (JASS) BROOKS
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL MARKETINGJass Brooks leads Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' global marketing organization, with responsibility for strategic and product marketing, marketing operations, communications and brand, analytics, and commercial growth initiatives across the company's portfolio. She is passionate about customer-centric innovation and leveraging data, digital technologies, and AI to drive business performance and strengthen market positioning.
Jass brings more than 25 years of commercial and marketing leadership experience across global MedTech, spanning electrophysiology, cardiovascular technologies, imaging, medical devices, software, and digital health. Most recently, she served as President, Electrophysiology at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where she led a global business and advanced innovation through cross-functional collaboration. Previously, as Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing, she led a portfolio across more than 20 markets, delivering sustained growth through portfolio and marketing strategy.
Jass holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
DR. CHARLES CACHOEIRA
VICE PRESIDENT, VALUE & ACCESSDr. Charles Cachoeira leads Value & Access for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and Danaher Diagnostics, with responsibility for market access, reimbursement, health economics, and value strategy across the diagnostics portfolio. He is passionate about advancing patient access to innovation and demonstrating the clinical and economic value of diagnostic solutions around the world.
Charles brings extensive leadership experience across diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology. Most recently, he served at Roche Diagnostics, where he led Global Market Access strategy across multiple technologies, disease areas, and geographies. Prior to Roche, Charles held leadership roles in Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Health Economics at Eli Lilly and Johnson & Johnson MedTech.
As a physician and business leader, Charles combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare systems and reimbursement environments to serve as an authoritative and authentic advocate for the patients Beckman Coulter ultimately serves.
Charles holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
JOERG BERNER
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERJoerg Berner leads the global Finance and Information Technology organizations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. He is focused on enabling sustainable growth through strong financial stewardship, operational excellence, and strategic business partnership across the organization.
Joerg brings more than 20 years of global finance leadership experience across diagnostics, manufacturing, commercial operations, and business transformation. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Siemens Healthineers' Point-of-Care business unit. Prior to that, he held finance leadership roles for the company's Diagnostics European Headquarters and its global Laboratory Diagnostics manufacturing and supply chain network, helping drive performance across complex international operations.
Joerg's deep industry knowledge, operational expertise, and collaborative leadership style help teams deliver strong business results. He is passionate about building high-performing organizations that support innovation, customer success, and long-term growth.
Joerg holds a Master of Science in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin and completed graduate studies at the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne.
